Part 3 - Importing the Camera data into 3ds Max

Start by resetting 3ds Max or by starting a new scene. On the top menu bar, click on MAXscript>Run Script

Voodoo Camera Tracker Tutorial
When the Choose Editor File window opens, navigate your folders to locate the MAXscript you exported from Voodoo Camera Tracker. Then click on Open Voodoo Camera Tracker Tutorial

The Voodoo Camera Tracker MAXscript load the voodoo_cam and all exported feature point helpers into the scene. Notice that the camera is pointing up to the sky at this point. There are a few ways to "fix" this if it's an issue for you. The simplest way is to group all of the feature point helper and the voodoo_cam, then rotate -90 degrees. This will orient the camera and helpers to a more usable starting point. This method can be cumbersome if your feature points are literally all over the place. In this instance, you can link all the feature points to the camera, rotate the camera, then unlink all the feature points. There is no best way to accomplish this and method may need to be modified per scene.

Load your matched source into the Environment Background as well as the viewport background and you're ready to continue.
